About ART VEVEY

The artistic projects under the aegis of Art Vevey aim to present committed and dynamic artists on culturally relevant themes. Art Vevey seeks to find themes of common reference in the richness of art ... to create exhibitions that are stimulating for regular visitors of art museums and accessible to those who are discovering art for the first time.

Art Vevey's exhibitions are a guide into the world of visual art that broadens horizons and enhances the ability to perceive, appreciate, and understand art from different perspectives. Art Vevey is also a social experience through which the visitor can get to know art from various geographical and social backgrounds.

In June 2025, our curator organized an exhibition entitled Echoes of Barcelona which took place in the Castillo in Vevey. The exhibition featured the works of two renowned artists from Barcelona, Alicia and Georg Massanés and attracted more than 200 visitors.

In February 2026, Art Vevey will be producng an exhibition entitled ORGANIC and presented at the Gallery 21 Grande Plave in Vevey. From Lake Geneva's Alpine peaks to Catalan forests and French herbarium, six artists chart a shared pictorial terrain: abstract realism. ORGANIC gathers works inspired by from the immediate natural world—water, rock, forest—revealing what is at once tangible and enigmatic. Rather than depicting what is seen, these works capture what is felt. They render abstract impressions of lived experience: luminous rays across lake water, the silent monumentality of snow-covered summits, the dense weave of undergrowth. Forms emerge rather than declare themselves; colors conjure rather than replicate.

In March/April a new exhibition, entitled EVOLVE, will be held in Ecublens Switzerland and will bring together female artists to delve into the evolving landscape of identity.
