An exhibition of seven female artists exploring identity in today's world.
EVOLVE is a multidisciplinary exhibition that invites seven women artists to explore the stratified, complex, and ever-changing image of women in community. Until recently, art history has been predominently a male story. Now women are more and more present in the art scene, not only as models, but as creators, composers and storytellers. EVOLVE stages the multiple ways in which women artists identify depending on societal, political and cultural contexts.
The exhibition honors strength and resistance. "We are the product of the memory of the past and forge the future for the image of women artists of tomorrow." EVOLVE brings together several contemporary and international female artists who tell their story from different perspectives. Based on their lived experience and artistic practice, each artist approaches her work from a singularly constructed identity, through mediums such as painting, photography, videos and installation.

About the curator
Carole Miller founded ART VEVEY in 2025 as an artistic initiative inspired by the cultural richness of the Riviera, with the aim of organizing exhibitions featuring Swiss and international artists and perpetuating the artistic vitality of the region.
With an MBA from SKEMA and Sciences Po Paris, Carole Miller began her career in finance. In 2015, she joined Business Angels Switzerland (BAS), an investor association that supports local entrepreneurs. In 2017 she moved to Barcelona for 6 years where she immersed herself in the vibrant Catalan art scene. She met renowned artists and studied art history.
Back in Switzerland, she became more involved in the arts and organized cultural exchanges. She directed and curated a first exhibition at the Castillo in Vevey with the works of two Spanish painters, Alicia Marsans and Georg Massanés.
The artistic projects under the aegis of Art Vevey aim to present committed and dynamic artists on socially relevant themes. Art Vevey tends to find themes of common reference in the richness and knowledge of art. Art Vevey's goal is to create exhibitions that are stimulating for regular visitors to art museums and accessible to those who are discovering art for the first time.
Art Vevey's exhibitions are a guide into the world of visual art that broadens horizons and enhances the ability to perceive, appreciate, and understand art from different perspectives. The exhibitions are a social experience through which the visitor can get to know art from various geographical and social backgrounds.
